These are the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun,

דן יוסף ובנימין נפתלי גד ואשר:

Dan, Joseph, Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.

בני יהודה ער ואונן ושלה תלתיהון אתילידו ליה מן בת שוע פרקמטיתא והוון ער ואונן עבדין דביש קדם יי וקטלנון על דהוון מחבלין ית ארחתהון:
arkhthhwn yth mkhblyn dhwwn el wqTlnwn yy qdm dbysh ebdyn wawnn er whwwn prqmTytha shwe bth mn lyh athylydw thlthyhwn wshlh wawnn er yhwdh bny
The sons of Judah: Er, Onan, and Shelah, which three were born to him of Shua’s daughter the Canaanitess. Er, Judah’s firstborn, was wicked in Yahweh’s sight; and he killed him.

ותמר כלתיה ילידת ליה ית פרץ וית זרח כלהון בני יהודה חמשא:

Tamar his daughter-in-law bore him Perez and Zerah. All the sons of Judah were five.

ובנוי דזרח זמרי ואיתן והימן וכלכול ודרדע כלהון אמרכולין דרוח נבואה שרית עליהון והנון חמשא:

The sons of Zerah: Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Calcol, and Dara—five of them in all.

ובנוי דכרמי הוא זמרי עכר הוא עכן די עכר ישראל כד אפכו ונפלו קדם אנשי עי מטול דשקר בחרמא:

The son of Carmi: Achar, the troubler of Israel, who committed a trespass in the devoted thing.

ובנוי דחצרון די אתילידו ליה בתמנת ית ירחמאל וית רם וית כלובי:
klwby wyth rm wyth yrkhmal yth bthmnth lyh athylydw dy dkhtsrwn wbnwy
The sons also of Hezron, who were born to him: Jerahmeel, Ram, and Chelubai.

ורם אוליד ית עמינדב ועמינדב אוליד ית נחשון רב בית אבא לבני יהודה:
yhwdh lbny aba byth rb nkhshwn yth awlyd wemyndb emyndb yth awlyd wrm
Ram became the father of Amminadab, and Amminadab became the father of Nahshon, prince of the children of Judah;

ונחשון אוליד ית שלמא ושלמא אוליד ית בעז:
bez yth awlyd wshlma shlma yth awlyd wnkhshwn
and Nahshon became the father of Salma, and Salma became the father of Boaz,

ובעז אוליד ית עובד ועובד אוליד ית ישי:
yshy yth awlyd wewbd ewbd yth awlyd wbez
and Boaz became the father of Obed, and Obed became the father of Jesse;

וישי אוליד ית בוכריה ית אליאב ואבינדב תנין ושמעא תליתאי:
thlythay wshmea thnyn wabyndb alyab yth bwkryh yth awlyd wyshy
and Jesse became the father of his firstborn Eliab, Abinadab the second, Shimea the third,

ואחותהון צרויה ואביגיל ובני צרויה אבישי ויואב ועשאל תלתיהון גוברין:
gwbryn thlthyhwn weshal wywab abyshy tsrwyh wbny wabygyl tsrwyh wakhwthhwn
and their sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. The sons of Zeruiah: Abishai, Joab, and Asahel, three.

ואביגיל ילידת ית עמשא ואבא דעמשא יתר ישראלא והוו צוחין ליה יתר ישמעאלא מטול דזריז ית חרצוי בסיפא למסיעא ית דוד בערכאה כד בעא אבנר למרחקא ית דוד וכל נגיסת ישי דלא ידכון למיעל בקהלא דיי על עיסק רות מואביתא:

Abigail bore Amasa; and the father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmaelite.

וכלב בר חצרון אוליד מן עזובה אנתתיה ומאי צוחין לה עזובה מן בגלל דהות עקרה ובזיותא וגלי קדם יי עולבנה ואתרוחת ואשתבחרת בחכמתא והות עזלא בחכמתא ית מעזי על גויתהון דעזיא כדלא גזיל מטול יריעת משכנא ואלין בניהא ישר ושובב וארדון:

Caleb the son of Hezron became the father of children by Azubah his wife, and by Jerioth; and these were her sons: Jesher, Shobab, and Ardon.

ומיתת עזובה ונסיב ליה כלב ית מרים דמתקריא ית אפרת וילדת ליה ית חור:

Azubah died, and Caleb married Ephrath, who bore him Hur.

וחור אוליד ית אורי ואורי אוליד ית בצלאל:
btslal yth awlyd wawry awry yth awlyd wkhwr
Hur became the father of Uri, and Uri became the father of Bezalel.

ומן בתר כדין שרגיג חצרון בתולתא ית ברת מכיר אבא דגלעד והוא נסבה לאנתו והוא הוה בר שתין שנין כד ילידת ליה ית שגוב:
shgwb yth lyh ylydth kd shnyn shthyn br hwh whwa lanthw nsbh whwa dgled aba mkyr brth yth bthwltha khtsrwn shrgyg kdyn bthr wmn
Afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, whom he took as wife when he was sixty years old; and she bore him Segub.

ושגוב אוליד ית יאיר והוו ליה עשרים ותלת קרוין בארעא דגלעד:
dgled barea qrwyn wthlth eshrym lyh whww yayr yth awlyd wshgwb
Segub became the father of Jair, who had twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead.

ודברו גשוראי ואמראי ית כפרני יאיר מנהון ית קנת וית כפרנהא שתין קרוין כל אלין הוון דמכיר אבא דגלעד:
dgled aba dmkyr hwwn alyn kl qrwyn shthyn kprnha wyth qnth yth mnhwn yayr kprny yth wamray gshwray wdbrw
Geshur and Aram took the towns of Jair from them, with Kenath, and its villages, even sixty cities. All these were the sons of Machir the father of Gilead.

ומן בתר כדין מית חצרון בבית כלב בריה באפרת ואתת חצרון אביה ברת מכיר אשתירת מעברא וילידת ליה בתר מותיה ית אשחור רבהון דתקועאי:
dthqweay rbhwn ashkhwr yth mwthyh bthr lyh wylydth mebra ashthyrth mkyr brth abyh khtsrwn wathth baprth bryh klb bbyth khtsrwn myth kdyn bthr wmn
After Hezron died in Caleb Ephrathah, Abijah, Hezron’s wife, bore him Ashhur the father of Tekoa.

והוון בני ירחמאל בוכרא דחצרון בוכרא רם ובונה ואורן ואצם ואחיה:
wakhyh watsm wawrn wbwnh rm bwkra dkhtsrwn bwkra yrkhmal bny whwwn
The sons of Jerahmeel the firstborn of Hezron were Ram the firstborn, Bunah, Oren, Ozem, and Ahijah.

והות אתתא חורניתא לירחמאל ושמה עטרה היא אמיה דאונם:
dawnm amyh hya eTrh wshmh lyrkhmal khwrnytha aththa whwth
Jerahmeel had another wife, whose name was Atarah. She was the mother of Onam.

והוו בני רם בוכרא דירחמאל מעץ וימין ועקר:
weqr wymyn mets dyrkhmal bwkra rm bny whww
The sons of Ram the firstborn of Jerahmeel were Maaz, Jamin, and Eker.

והוו בני אונם שמי וידע ובני שמי נדב ואבישור:
wabyshwr ndb shmy wbny wyde shmy awnm bny whww
The sons of Onam were Shammai and Jada. The sons of Shammai: Nadab and Abishur.

ושום אתת אבישור אביחיל וילידת ליה ית אחבן וית מוליד:
mwlyd wyth akhbn yth lyh wylydth abykhyl abyshwr athth wshwm
The name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail; and she bore him Ahban and Molid.
30
ובני נדב סלד ואפים ומית סלד בלא בנין:
bnyn bla sld wmyth wapym sld ndb wbny
The sons of Nadab: Seled and Appaim; but Seled died without children.
31
ובני אפים ישעי ובני ישעי ששן ובני ששן אחלי:
akhly shshn wbny shshn yshey wbny yshey apym wbny
The son of Appaim: Ishi. The son of Ishi: Sheshan. The son of Sheshan: Ahlai.
32
ובני ידע אחוי דשמי יתר ויונתן ומית יתר בלא בנין:
bnyn bla ythr wmyth wywnthn ythr dshmy akhwy yde wbny
The sons of Jada the brother of Shammai: Jether and Jonathan; and Jether died without children.
33
ובני יונתן פלת וזזא אלין הוון בני ירחמאל:
yrkhmal bny hwwn alyn wzza plth ywnthn wbny
The sons of Jonathan: Peleth and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.

ולא הוון לששן בנין אלהין בנתא ולששן עבדא מצראה ושמיה ירחע:
yrkhe wshmyh mtsrah ebda wlshshn bntha alhyn bnyn lshshn hwwn wla
Now Sheshan had no sons, but only daughters. Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarha.

ושחרר יתיה ויהב ששן ית ברתיה לירחע עבדיה לאתו וילידת ליה ית עתי:
ethy yth lyh wylydth lathw ebdyh lyrkhe brthyh yth shshn wyhb ythyh wshkhrr
Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant as wife; and she bore him Attai.

ועתי אוליד ית נתן ונתן אוליד ית זבד:
zbd yth awlyd wnthn nthn yth awlyd wethy
Attai became the father of Nathan, and Nathan became the father of Zabad,

וזבד אוליד ית אפלל ואפלל אוליד ית עובד:
ewbd yth awlyd wapll apll yth awlyd wzbd
and Zabad became the father of Ephlal, and Ephlal became the father of Obed,

ועובד אוליד ית יהוא ויהוא אוליד ית עזריה:
ezryh yth awlyd wyhwa yhwa yth awlyd wewbd
and Obed became the father of Jehu, and Jehu became the father of Azariah,

ועזריה אוליד ית חלץ וחלץ אוליד ית אלעשה:
aleshh yth awlyd wkhlts khlts yth awlyd wezryh
and Azariah became the father of Helez, and Helez became the father of Eleasah,
40
ואלעשה אוליד ית ססמי וססמי אוליד ית שלום:
shlwm yth awlyd wssmy ssmy yth awlyd waleshh
and Eleasah became the father of Sismai, and Sismai became the father of Shallum,

ושלום אוליד ית יקמיה ויקמיה אוליד ית אלישמע:
alyshme yth awlyd wyqmyh yqmyh yth awlyd wshlwm
and Shallum became the father of Jekamiah, and Jekamiah became the father of Elishama.

ובני כלב אחוי דירחמאל משע בוכריה הוא רבהון דזיפאי ובני מרישה אבא דחברון:
dkhbrwn aba mryshh wbny dzypay rbhwn hwa bwkryh mshe dyrkhmal akhwy klb wbny
The sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel were Mesha his firstborn, who was the father of Ziph, and the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.

ובני חברון קרח ותפוח ורקם ושמע:
wshme wrqm wthpwkh qrkh khbrwn wbny
The sons of Hebron: Korah, Tappuah, Rekem, and Shema.

ושמע אוליד ית רחם אבא דירקעם ורקם אוליד ית שמי:
shmy yth awlyd wrqm dyrqem aba rkhm yth awlyd wshme
Shema became the father of Raham, the father of Jorkeam; and Rekem became the father of Shammai.

ובריה דשמי מעון ומעון אבא דבית צור:
tswr dbyth aba wmewn mewn dshmy wbryh
The son of Shammai was Maon; and Maon was the father of Beth Zur.
46
ועיפה פלקתיה דכלב ילידת ית חרן וית מוצא וית גזז וחרן אוליד ית גזז:
gzz yth awlyd wkhrn gzz wyth mwtsa wyth khrn yth ylydth dklb plqthyh weyph
Ephah, Caleb’s concubine, bore Haran, Moza, and Gazez; and Haran became the father of Gazez.

ובני יהדי רגם ויותם וגישן ופלט ועיפה ושעף:
wshep weyph wplT wgyshn wywthm rgm yhdy wbny
The sons of Jahdai: Regem, Jothan, Geshan, Pelet, Ephah, and Shaaph.

פלקתיה דכלב מעכה ילידת ית שבר וית תרחנה:
thrkhnh wyth shbr yth ylydth mekh dklb plqthyh
Maacah, Caleb’s concubine, bore Sheber and Tirhanah.

ויולידת שעף ית אבא דמדמנה וית שבא אבא דמכבנא ואבא דגבעא וברתיה דכלב עכסא:
eksa dklb wbrthyh dgbea waba dmkbna aba shba wyth dmdmnh aba yth shep wywlydth
She bore also Shaaph the father of Madmannah, Sheva the father of Machbena and the father of Gibea; and the daughter of Caleb was Achsah.

אלין הוו בנוי דכלב בר חור בוכרא דאפרת שובל רבהון דקרית יערים:
yerym dqryth rbhwn shwbl daprth bwkra khwr br dklb bnwy hww alyn
These were the sons of Caleb, the son of Hur, the firstborn of Ephrathah: Shobal the father of Kiriath Jearim,

Salma the father of Bethlehem, and Hareph the father of Beth Gader.

והוון בנין לשובל רב קרית יערים תלמידיא וכהניא דחזין לפלגא קרבניא:
qrbnya lplga dkhzyn wkhnya thlmydya yerym qryth rb lshwbl bnyn whwwn
Shobal the father of Kiriath Jearim had sons: Haroeh, half of the Menuhoth.

וגניסיא דיתבין בקרית יערים בני משה די ילידת ליה צפרה יתראי פותאי ושומתאי ומשרעאי מאלין נפקו תלמידי נביא דצרעה ואשתאול:

The families of Kiriath Jearim: the Ithrites, the Puthites, the Shumathites, and the Mishraites; from them came the Zorathites and the Eshtaolites.
